  13.26 jusqu' à / jusqu' aux / jusqu' en = until / till
The preposition jusque is never used alone, it is always used together with another preposition. Which these prepositions are, we will discuss now:

1) With objects: à + article

  jusqu' à / jusqu' aux / jusqu' en = until / till / to
Il va jusqu' au bout. = He goes till the end.
  Il va jusqu' au mur. = He goes till the wall.
  Il va jusqu' aux femmes. = He goes until (to) the women.
  Il va jusqu' aux hommes. = He goes until (to) the men.
  Il va jusqu' à la maison. = He goes until (to) the house.

2) With personal pronouns: à + personal pronoun

  jusqu' à / jusqu' aux / jusqu' en = until / till / to
Il va jusqu' à lui. = He goes to him.
  Il va jusqu' à elle. = He goes to her.
  Il va jusqu' à nous. = He goes to us.
  Il va jusqu' à vous. = He goes to you.

3) With countries, regions and cities: à, en, aux, au, according to the rules that we have discussed in the beginning of this chapter.

  female countries: en
Il va jusqu' en Espagne.= He goes until (to) Spain.
  Il va jusqu' en France. = He goes until (to) France.

  male countries: au
Il va jusqu' au Portugal. = He goes until (to) Portugal.
  Il va jusqu' au Maroc. = He goes until (to) Morocco.

  countries in plural : aux
Il va jusqu' aux États-Unis. = He goes until (to) the US.

  Vor Städten: à
Il va jusqu' à Paris. = He goes until (to) Paris.
  Il va jusqu' à Berlin. = He goes until (to) Berlin.
