The use of the infinitive is not half as difficult as the use of participles, because it is very similar to the use in English as we will see in the following chapters.
There are infintives that are used with certain prepositions, there are verbs that can change the preposition and with it change the meaning. There are verbs that use infinitives without prepositions and there are infinitives that can be used as nouns. Quite the same in English.
