  Examples
Le fait qu' il ait lu le livre, ne veut pas dire qu' il l' a compris.
    The fact that he has read the book does not say that he has understood it.
  Il dit qu' il vient.
    He says that he comes.

Que is used quite often - as is also that. We have just seen it as relative pronoun, now it is a conjunction. The function of both is different.

Je crois qu' il est fou.
    I believe that he is crazy.
  Relative pronoun
  La femme que tu as vue hier, est malade.
    The woman that you saw yesterday is ill.
