12.2 Simple conjunctions and compound conjunctions

In French as well as in English one can differenciate between simple and compound conjunctions.

simple conjunctions (consisting of only one word)
We go there, but we do not like the location.
He was talking without a break, while she listened.
compound conjunctions (consisting of more than one word)
I do not like him, and moreover I do not like him.
He cannot do it, even if he wanted to.

There are quite a number of conjunctions, however we tried to collect the most important ones.
