	Je donne un livre à lui.*
	I give a book to him.

* Do you remember the unconnected personal pronouns? Just a short repetition:

When there are prepositions		we use the unconnected personal pronouns:
	Je le fais pour Je le donne à Il est allé sans Elle est partie sans	moi
		toi
		lui
		elle
		nous
		vous
		eux

As we have mentioned before, it is not the be forgotten that à + article melts to:
	à + le => au
	à + la => à la
	à + les => aux
	Je donne le livre au garçon.
	I give the book to the boy.
	Je donne le livre à la fille.
	I give the book to the girl.
	Je donne le livre aux enfants.
	I give the book to the children.
	Je donne le livre aux femmes.
	I give the book to the women.
