Well, there is question about it - most nouns also have a plural form.
house => houses
table => tables
apple => apples
Sometimes the plural form does have another meaning than the singular form:
people => peoples
experience => experiences
cloth => clothes
wine => wines
And then there are nouns that simply do not have a plural.
chemistry
information
fish
The same we will find in French as well.
