5.1.2 Direct object / Accusative

The direct object is also called accusative. The question for the direct (as well as for the indirect) object is whom? The form of the noun does not change, BUT the form of the personal pronoun does as we will see later on.

Example
  The boy eats the apple. What does the boy eat? the apple
Le garçon mange la pomme. Que mange le garçon? la pomme
